The process of constructing the movie sorter app played to a few of my strengths but also pushed my comfort level with JavaScript. For an avid movie-goer like myself, the successful integration of the app with The Movie Database API was extremely satisfying. The dynamic incorporation of real-time data not only enhanced the app’s functionality but also elevated its user engagement. I also wanted to lean into my Individual Concentration areas, namely by including a pulsating header using CSS animation. The project on the whole helped build my confidence in JavaScript. I highly recommend using the mobile web version of the app for an even more enjoyable experience.
